On today’s episode I interview Brandi Garden, of Eversio Wellness.
Eversio is a startup company, founded in February 2020 prior to COVID hitting the world, and honestly their timing couldn’t have been better. Launching into the market this January 1st 2021, with a range of medicinal mushroom supplements that are extremely high in quality and potency.
Among many things, Brandi and I discuss the importance of being crystal clear on your mission, vision and values - and how when you filter every decision, obstacle or opportunity through it, it has the potential to make things incredibly simple for you.
We also touch on medicinal and psychedelic mushrooms which holds a special place in my heart.
It was an absolute pleasure chatting with Brandi, she is a wealth of knowledge and I hope you learn and take as much away from the conversation as I did.

It’s widely acknowledged that in the retail space, your package is often the first and most meaningful interaction a consumer will have with your product.
Great execution on your packaging design, brand identity and brand persona will all translate across into your packages total shelf appeal, allowing you to specifically target your key buyer, drive sales and ultimately the growth of your business - Packaging is and should be considered a core part of your marketing and sales strategy.

2. Custom Packaging & Our Pre-Project Checklist

A custom packaging project, now more than ever is such an accessible and affordable solution for your business - you would be surprised as to how easy it is to get an amazing looking bag into your hands, and into the hands of your consumer.
However, like anything that seems simple on the outset, a packaging project can quickly turn into a beast and time consuming task.
When working with a client I find it extremely beneficial to do a thorough deep dive during our first meeting by asking a series questions geared towards teasing out your vision and understanding your specific goals, or to uncover an existing challenge or problem.
In my opening series on the Pack Heavy Podcast, I have broken down the process of a custom packaging project into three key parts - Brand identity and artwork, Bag type & material structures and Print methods.
Packing Heavy with this information will allow you a greater chance of receiving a stunning looking bag that serves its purpose properly - at the right price.
I recommend that you sit down with your team and do some serious preparation with the intention of being clear on what it is that you're about to embark on.
